FIELD: recovery of pollutants resulting from animal, bird, or human activities, vegetation and carbon-containing domestic wastes to produce biogas for heating, cooking, hot- water supply, etc. SUBSTANCE: periodic-action bioreactor has vessel with process pipes, fermentation chamber in bottom part, and gas space in top part. Gas space communicates with gas holder. The latter incorporates hydraulic seal and floating bell. Solid- phase fermenter is arranged concentrically in fermentation chamber and has collapsible enclosure in the form of semi-rings with hinge. Height of solid- phase fermenter enclosure corresponds to that of fermentation chamber. EFFECT: improved efficiency of bioreactor application. 2 dwg
