FIELD: waste disposal. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to utilization of vital activity products of cattle, fowl, man and carbon-containing solid household wastes to produce biogas designed to be used for heating, illumination, cooking, and water heating in individual economies. Methane tank contains casing with fermentation chamber in its lower part and gas space in upper part. The latter communicates with gas collector enclosing floating bottom with its lower part located in hydraulic gate cavity. Tank also has thermostatically controlled fermentation chamber and solid-phase fermenter disposed concentrically with fermentation chamber and being constructed in the form of two semirings with joint. A roof in the form of conical ring is disposed over the fermenter, its narrow basement being positioned over hydraulic gate. EFFECT: improved design. 2 dwg
