FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: method comprises applying coating from solution containing metal alkoxide and other compounds and subsequently drying and heat treating said coating. Solution contains metal alkoxide of general formula: P-OM in which M is Ti, Zr, Sh and V; R is C₂-C₄ alkyl, acetic or propionic acid at alkoxide to acid molar ratio of 1:1 and ammonium chloride in amount of 0.1-0.5 wt % of total weight of alkoxide. According to second variant, solution contains said metal alkoxide, ammonium chloride and I-VIII group metal acetate or propionate at alkoxide to carboxylate molar ratio of 1:1. According to third variant, solution contains the same components as in first variant, and further contains I-VIII group metal chloride or nitrate at alkoxide to salt to acid molar ratio of 1:1:2.
