FIELD: locking devices. SUBSTANCE: cylindrical mechanism of lock with strip-like detents increases secrecy of lock. Located in lock body is cylinder with passage for key with possible turning of cylinder. Strip-like detents are in contact with each other. Extreme strip-like detents are in contact with cylinder and/or with lock body. Made in internal surface of body are two longitudinal grooves which are intended for interaction with strip-like detents. Key is of flat type. Passage for key in cylinder is of through type. Cylinder is provided with flange having slot for key. Two longitudinal grooves in internal surface of body are located against passage for key. Strip-like detents are made in the form of rings which are arranged around cylinder with air gaps which separate rings from body and from cylinder. Each ring is provided with two coding protrusions which are located against longitudinal grooves in internal surface of body. Lengths of coding protrusions are determined by code. Cylinder is braked from turning relative to rings. Flat-type key is provided with stop for fixing its position and in its working part it has constant width which is equal to internal diameter of rings. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 cl, 4 dwg
