FIELD: locking devices. SUBSTANCE: according to arrangement of components for coding of cylindrical mechanism incorporating body, cylinder and ring, cylinder is located inside body with possibility of its turning around axis, and ring is located around cylinder for possible braking of cylinder from its turning with subsequent decoding of cylindrical mechanism of lock. Ring is pressed against mechanism body and is coupled to cylinder by means of spiral thread. This is done with precondition that static frictional force between ring and mechanism body is larger than static frictional force between turns of spiral thread of cylinder and ring. Described in invention is lock for realization of aforesaid arrangement of mechanism. Cylindrical mechanism improves reliability of lock. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 8 cl, 7 dwg
