FIELD: storage.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to storage of food grains (wheat, rye, oat, maize, sunflower) in controlled gas medium (CGM) with oxygen content less than 1 % in sealed silos. Method of grain storage in the CGM by exposures, including modes of feeding the CGM with a generator (Fig. 1): in which at first step adsorption columns of nitrogen generator are filled with special adsorbent – carbon molecular sieves, nitrogen generators use effective adsorbent; at 2nd stage, air is compressed with the help of compressor (1), where compressed air enters receiver (3) and passes the cleaning stage in filtration system (2), then the compressed air dried and purified from impurities enters the lower part of the columns and passes through adsorber (4), in it oxygen is adsorbed, which allows passage of nitrogen, then after the specified time the column automatically switches to the regeneration mode, selecting pollutants from the screen, in which carbon molecular sieves allow small molecules, such as oxygen, to penetrate into pores and separate from nitrogen molecules, which are too large; at the third final stage, after adsorptive separation, production gas is supplied to receiver (5) for subsequent supply to silo tank of silo, pre-filled with grain, characterized by that different grain crops are exposed to certain time: for wheat, rye and oats with moisture content of 13.5–15.5 % – exposition of CGM feed will vary from 7 to 8 hours a day, for sunflower with moisture content of 7.0–8.0 % – exposure of CGM feed will vary from 5 to 6 hours, for maize with moisture content of 12.5–15.5 % – exposure of CGM feed will vary from 6 to 7 hours a day.

EFFECT: disclosed is a method of grain storage in CGM by exposures.
