FIELD: cleaning methods. SUBSTANCE: method is intended for use in different areas, including medicine, transport, stock-breeding, food industry, petroleum processing. Method consists in mechanically removing pollution by way of treating polluted surface by pressurized liquid jet cavitating under ultrasonic wave effect. Intensity of ultrasonic waves is chosen such that average diameter of contact spot (d) reaching polluted surface and preserving continuity of jet were equal to 2-4 diameters of contact spot with liquid jet not ultrasonically affected (D) so ensuring inequality d < 2D in the treatment process. Method simultaneously provides disinfection, decontamination, and deactivation of surface being treated. EFFECT: reduced consumption of cleaning liquids and power. 6 cl, 4 dwg, 5 tbl
