FIELD: heat- protection coatings for metals. SUBSTANCE: oxide powders are mixed with hydrosols based on corresponding oxides and resultant mixture is mechanically affected to activate sol-containing suspension until 6-8 wt % of coarse-phase hydration products are formed. The thus obtained suspension is capable to form dispersion-strengthened structure of material with a wide range of excess water-loss times from 1 s to tens min at drying temperatures from 20 to 300 C.
