METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF SYRUP FROM SUGAR-BEARING PRIMARY STUFF Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: sugar industry. SUBSTANCE: according to method, disintegrated primary stuff is subjected to extraction. For example sugar beet stuff is subjected to extraction by extracting agent, namely by desalinized water with obtaining raw juice. Raw sugar juice is subjected to ultra-filtration in several stages and to concentration by reverse osmosis with application of high-selective membranes up to producing SYRUP with sugar content of 30-50% and desalinized water with salt content not over 30 mg/l. This desalinized water except extraction is used as diluent agent for concentrate. Thinning of concentrate is performed between stages of ultra-filtration. Raw juice prior to ultra-filtration is diluted with desalinized water with salt content not over 30 mg/l. Mixture of ultra-filtrates yielded from all stages is softened. Application of aforesaid method ensures improved refinement and increased rate of recovering saccharose together with reduction of its loss. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
