FIELD: sugar industry. SUBSTANCE: aluminum chloride is added to diffusion liquor preheated to 85-90 C until pH 3.5-4.5 is attained and nonsugars are coagulated. Then, alkaline solution of sodium hydroxoaluminate is added to attain pH 7.1- 7.3 for precipitation of aluminum ions and formation of aluminum oxide precipitate to sorb nonsugars.
