SUSPENSION OF MOUNTED EQUIPMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLE Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: equipment of mobile robotic complexes for search and deactivation of explosive objects. SUBSTANCE: invention may find use in specialized excavating machines, for instance, peat swath collectors. Suspension is composed of two longitudinal lifting levers hinged to motor vehicle and each linked to proper drive. Additional longitudinal lever in the form of telescopic shock absorber is installed under each lifting lever and is hinged to motor vehicle. Each of these levers is fitted with obstacle collision transmitter. Front ends of each lever are hinged to its rolling pin positioned in transverse cylindrical guide of frame under which skis are located. Their front ends are hinged to frame. One of rolling pins is equipped with rests limiting its axial movement in guide. Skis are fitted with sensors reading their turn angles towards ground surface. This design makes it possible to decrease pressure of suspension components on ground in process of following of ground profile and to prevent destruction of mounted equipment in case of collision with obstacle.
