CONSTRUCTION OF CORNICE EDGE OF ROOFING Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to construction of metal roofing. Construction of cornice edge of roofing has regular covering and wall-supported trough. Regular covering is made of sheets which are connected together by double rabbet. Wall-supported trough is made in the form of hollow prism. Installed between wall-supported trough and regular covering is flexible liner which at both sides is coated with hermetic sealing agent. At place of installing wall-supported trough, double rabbets which connect sheets of regular covering are made as lying. Installed between roof battens and regular roof covering along axis of wall-supported trough is underlining strip. Secured to this strip through flexible liner and regular roof covering by means of self-tapping screws is wall-supported trough. Permissible to install additionally in overlapping manner is cornice overhanging sheet. In this case, wall-supported trough is fastened to underlining strip through flexible liner, regular roof covering, cornice overhanging sheet. Wall-supported trough is sectional in design and is made up of front and rear shields. Front shield covers front face as to direction of water flow and lower face of framework of wall-supported trough. Rear shield covers rear face of framework. Aforesaid embodiment of invention helps cut labour expenses. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 3 dwg
