Abstract RU 2119095 C1

FIELD: space engineering; electric jet engine units incorporating stationary plasma jet engines and anode-layer engines. SUBSTANCE: engine has compensating cathode 1, magnetic system 2, and gas-distributing anode 3 mounted in discharge chamber 4 wherein it is secured by means of fastening assembly 5. Fastening rod 6 of assembly 5 is fitted in hole 7 of discharge- chamber bottom 8. One end of rod 6 is rigidly fixed with anode 3 and other one, with locking member 9. Fastening assembly 5 includes coupling 10 with outer thread 11 whose end 12 facing anode 3 has projection 13. Section of through internal bore of coupling is joined to second end of rod. Coupling may be provided with hole off-centered relative to axis of inner through bore of coupling. Axes of inner bore and off- centered hole are located in same plane as longitudinal axis of engine 18. Flexible member may be inserted between bottom 8 of discharge chamber 4 and locking member 9. Section of rod 6 facing anode and first section of inner through bore of coupling 10 may be joined together through conical surface. EFFECT: improved mechanical strength of anode-to-discharge- chamber joint; improved pliability of fastening assembly with respect to compensation for thermal deformation. 5 cl, 5 dwg
