FIELD: design of information displays based on gaseous-discharge AC indicating panels of planar make with pairs of indication electrodes. SUBSTANCE: display element includes at least two pairs of indication electrodes with distance between near-by edges of indication electrodes of neighboring pairs C1 amounting to ( 0.3-1.7 ) distance between near-by edges of indication electrodes in pair C2. If display element of panel has even number of pairs of indication electrodes near-by electrodes of every two pairs arranged in turns can be integrated. If display element has odd number of pairs of indication electrodes near-by electrodes of every two pairs arranged in turns and extreme electrode of last odd pair may also be integrated. EFFECT: high reliability of control and high brightness thanks to provision for uniform accumulation of wall charges on indication electrodes of display element. 2 cl, 3 dwg
