FIELD: gas-discharge engineering; data display on ac gas panels. SUBSTANCE: high reliability of control of ac gas panel whose pixels include minimum two display electrodes of which at least one has n≥2 conductors is ensured due to the fact that distance l₁ between display electrode conductors is chosen from expression 0,1l₂≤l₁≤0,95l₂, where l₂ is distance between display electrodes in pixel. In addition reliability of control is raised by choosing distance l₂ between display electrodes from expression 0,2l₃≤l₂≤0,75l₃, where l₃ is distance between closest edges of first conductor of display electrode and next one in pixel display electrodes. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of control due to optimizing value of wall charge in pixels. 2 cl, 4 dwg
