SUBSTANCE: power set has generator connected with drive engine control devices, terminals for connecting to electrical system of engine to be started, two capacitive energy storage units, each made in form or one or several parallel-connected double-layer capacitors and switching device with contacts placed between energy storage units for changing them over in process of starting from parallel to series connection.
