FIELD: cholecystic diseases. SUBSTANCE: level of malonic dialdehyde in chloroform- methanol extract of patientТs bile is determined as nmols of dialdehyde per 1 ml of bile using reaction with thiobarbituric acid in an acidic waterless medium. Simultaneously, in the same extract, content of phospholipides in mg/ml (of bile) is determined. When ratio of malonic dialdehyde content to thiobarbituric acid content is higher than 5.0 nmol/mg, cholecystitis exacerbation is diagnosed.
