FIELD: commercial poultry farming. SUBSTANCE: method involves radiating eggs prior to laying them into incubator or chickens of early age with low-intensity defocused laser radiation of 0.87-0.98 micron, intensity not exceeding 1.0 W/sq.cm for 1-10 min, with laser radiation being frequency-modulated within 10-2,000 Hz band. Apparatus has housing divided into upper and lower sections by wall. Laser radiation units are mounted in upper section and container with eggs or chickens is positioned in lower section.
