FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has carcass having bearing ring with two arc-shaped guiding members and cross-piece connecting them to produce ligature openings provided with fixing hooks placed on internal part of the arc-shaped guiding members to enlarge solid angle of eye rotation and in this way to make easier access to anterior pole of the eye that enables microsurgical devices to be used in full measure. To place the device over the eyeball for performing its rotation and fixation, only one of four musculi recti available. EFFECT: excluded pressure of surrounding tissues; reduced risk of operative and postoperative complications. 1 dwg
