FIELD: paper industry. SUBSTANCE: to glue rear end of material of coiled roll, rear end is separated from roll surface and is wound off through definite length. Then section of roll material is coated with glue and wound off length of material is again wound on roll. Rear end is separated and wound off from roll using vacuum generated by suction in area around the roll. Glue is applied to roll material section remaining wound on roll, and free end of material is placed on this section in process of winding.
