FIELD: chemistry of polymers. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of synthesis of alpha-olefinic high-molecular polymers in solution by polymerization of ethylene or a mixture of ethylene and at least one of higher C3-C12-olefins in the presence of coordination catalyst consisting of two components: the first component has Ti, Mg, Al and the second one has a mixture of alkylaluminium and alkoxyalkylaluminium. Process is carried out at heating to 180-320 C. Formation of the first and the second component and their mixing are carried out at temperature below 30 C.
