FIELD: parquet production, in particular, manufacture of incrusted parquet. SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting out accomplished artistic picture by picture pattern on area of preliminarily assembled squares; cutting through pattern by laser beam with working gap of Δ = 0.3 - 0.5 mm along the whole contour; cutting out patterns in subsequent squares following initial squares to form openings having linear sizes decreased by half as compared to laser beam working gap; rearranging cut out patterns from their initial squares manufactured from wood of one kind into decreased openings of subsequent squares manufactured from wood of other kind without gaps. EFFECT: reduced loss of valuable woods and increased efficiency. 4 dwg
