FIELD: alloys. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing aluminium alloy-base composition material hardened with titanium carbide and involving addition of aluminium-containing matrix of hardening particles in melt. Process is carried out by feeding titanium tetrachloride and carbon tetrachloride at molar ratio 1:1 on surface of matrix melt made of aluminium alloy and containing 40-60% magnesium at continuous stirring. After termination of process reduction the obtained product is kept under vacuum at 650-750 C up to producing material that contains 5-8% magnesium.
