FIELD: equipment for wire cleaning. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes chamber having inlet and outlet openings for wire and filled with working medium, movable cover of chamber designed for controlling pressure of working medium in chamber. Apparatus also includes at least one tie rod passing through chamber across it, having one opening for wire and mounted with possibility of axial motion and fixation in selected position. It allows to enhance quality of wire treatment due to changing wire position in chamber and influence of wire oiling and wear of working medium upon wire cleaning quality. Tie rod is mounted in such a way that it is displaced relative to line passing between input and output openings of chamber that may be mounted with possibility of lengthwise reciprocation motion by means of drive unit arranged in apparatus. It provides periodical increase of relative speed of wire feed and enhanced efficiency of its treatment. The same effect may be achieved due to use of additional drive unit for feeding wire with working member in the form of eccentric. Simultaneous cleaning of large number of wires is provided due to respective number of inlet and outlet openings in chamber and the same number of openings or more in each tie rod.
