FIELD: DESCALING and deburring wire at production process. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes mounted at both sides stationary cups and disc chucks driven to rotation by means of drive mechanism. At least one abrasive tool is mounted with possibility of free rotation between said disc chucks. Abrasive tool has barrel-like working surface and at each end it has rolling race turned to inner supporting surface provided on cup. Guides are in the form of plug with opening for wire; opening is shifted relative to axis of apparatus. Plug is placed in opening of disc chuck along axis of apparatus with possibility for changing angular position relative to disc chuck and for fixing in necessary position. It provides possibility for controlling intensity and quality of wire treatment. In such apparatus wire is placed crosswise relative to direction of tool rotation and it almost touches tool along its whole length that is why wear of working surface of tool is uniform and slow.
