Abstract RU 2120845 C1

FIELD: welding of non-rotary butts of tubes at constructing main and factory pipelines. SUBSTANCE: at welding process zero or very slow motion speed rate is provided in initial spot for guaranteed reliability of arc initiation. After arc generation motion speed of apparatuses for inner welding is increased until high value for a large part of welded seam. At end portion of welded seam motion speed of welding apparatuses and rate of wire feed are sharply decreased until zero for terminating welding process. Welding is realized with use of control system that may have one or more apparatuses for outer welding and outer units for tracking and controlling, all units and apparatuses are mutually connected by means of communication line.
