FIELD: municipal equipment designed for reduction of slipperiness of iced surfaces. SUBSTANCE: device may be mounted on hand truck or made in the form of mounted equipment on truck chassis. The device includes hollow cylindrical roller with horizontal axle. Secured to roller outer surface is metal bristles and heater in the form of flame burner whose nozzle is directed inside roller. Heater may be used in the form of truck engine exhaust gases. Hot gases heat the roller walls and through walls metal bristles are heated. Roller is protected from the top and sides with heat-insulating shed. Gases after passing roller hollow are directed to space between roller and heat-insulating shed.
