FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method consists in the following operations. End of smearing plate is passed over slide surface on which smear is applied by means of holder. Smearing plate is inserted into holder positioned on the side at fixed angle to operating surface of slide. Smearing is performed with support on edge of smearing plate and on holder. Holder in device is arranged on the side of smearing plate and is provided with groove perpendicular to side surface of holder. Smearing plate is installed in groove for setting of its slope angle to operating surface by scale. Locking of plate in position relative to holder is effected due to friction forces and resting on operating surface with its edge and on table surface, with holder. EFFECT: provision for uniformity of smear and for adjustment of smear thickness. 2 cl, 2 dwg
