FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: facility is inserted with tape embracing doctor and coupled to tape-pulling mechanism and mechanism lifting/lowering doctor coming in the form of plate with beveled working butt. Table is equipped with mechanism for movement in horizontal plane relative to immobile doctor which travels in vertical plane. Tape in working position fits object glass snugly. Dosed drop of blood is smeared due to movement of table. Process of preparation of blood smears can be easily automated although facility can operate under manual condition too. In this case standard blood smears are obtained, that is, smears prepared under same conditions which are monotypic in structure as they are prepared in the form of monolayer.
