FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: claimed steel comprises (wt %): 0.01-0.03 carbon; 0.001- 0.1 nitrogen; 20-45 manganese; 0.01-17.2 chromium; 0.001- 6.0 nickel; 4.0-4.5 silicon; and the iron balance. Upper limit of chromium content in steel is restricted by certain ratios of magnesium, nickel and nitrogen. The claimed steel has corrosion resistance from 0.0022 to 0.08 mm/year in sea water, impact viscosity of 2.0-3.6 MJ/m2, ultimate fluidity of 360-450 MPa and plasticity index δ = of 40-70% and plasticity index ψ = of 50-70%. EFFECT: improved properties of the non-magnetic steel. 4 cl, 2 tbl
