FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be applied, for example, for using alloy in the form of tape to manufacture cores of power distributive transformer operated at low frequencies. High-induction amorphous alloy containing boron, silicon, and iron is supplemented by phosphorus and nickel with following contents of components, atomic %: boron, 7.5-11.5; silicon, 7.0-10.5; phosphorus, 1.0-4.0; nickel, up to 1.5; and iron, the balance. Summary content of phosphorus, silicon, and boron is 19.5-22.0 at. % and that of boron and phosphorus 11.0-13.5 at.%. Crystallization temperature of alloy is at least 515 C. Energy consumption is reduced thanks to reduced temperature of overheating of melt for its homogenization and pouring into tape, increased critical thickness of tape, while preserving level of magnetic properties with the same cost of charge materials. When manufacturing products, e.g. cores, magnetic reversal loss at 50 Hz does not exceed 0.20 W/kg with induction at least 1.45 Tl. EFFECT: improved magnetic characteristics. 4 cl, 4 tbl, 13 ex
