FIELD: electrolytic capacitors for state-of-the-art power engineering, automobile construction, etc., to function as storage capacitors. SUBSTANCE: capacitor has pair of plane-parallel polarized carbon electrodes made of natural graphite powders activated by plasma-chemical technique with bulk density of 0.002-0.02 g/cm3 spaced apart by porous polymeric-fiber separator. Entire system is pre-impregnated with mixed sulfate-halide electrolyte and placed in hermetically sealed casing of certain design. Casing cover mounts current leads connected to electrodes by means of copper collector coated with titanium or lead nitride. Device capacitance amounts to 1.0 F and higher value per 1 cm3 and under certain conditions it provides for discharge currents of up to 2.5 A and higher per 1 cm3 which enables its use in conjunction with small-size storage battery or photochemical current supply as pulsed energy storage capacitor. EFFECT: improved capacitance, enlarged functional capabilities. 7 dwg
