FIELD: designing of hydroacoustic equipment, in particular, rod-type directional transducers operating within a wide frequency band in the receiving mode at high hydrostatic pressures. SUBSTANCE: hydroacoustic transducer a piezoceramic rod member with two cover plates hermetically sealed in the strength hull filled with gas, acoustically uncoupled from it. The closed volume enclosed between the free end surface of the rear cover plate, bottom and the rear section of the hull walls is filled with a layer of rubber-like polymer. The front cover plate has a working surface, whose area is close to the cross-section area of the piezoceramic rod member, and a projecting flange on the side facing the piezoceramic member. Fixation of the position of the piezoceramic rod member with cover plates relative to the hull lateral surface is made in the form of ring rubber seals on the lateral surfaces of both cover plates. Near the front cover plate the seal is enclosed between its flange and the flange of metal ring that is rigidly coupled to the hull front section. EFFECT: operation at enhanced hydrostatic pressures, with the parameters remaining unchanged within a wide range of frequencies and pressures. 2 dwg
