FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves making incisions in conjunctiva in inferoexterior quadrant 10 mm farther apart from limbus and Tenon's coat of 10 mm long. Cavity is formed in the zone of macular and paramacular region projection. Graft is implanted. The graft is produced as disk of 1.0 mm diameter and 0.1 mm thickness. It is taken from agricultural animal pericardium and has holes of 1x1 mm (at least 4-5 holes). The graft is introduced through the incision in inferoexterior quadrant of the eye leading to posterior pole of the eye in the macular region projection. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of disease treatment; low risk of traumatic consequences.
