FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves making two or four radial incisions. Tenon's capsule is separated from sclera. A pocket is created for receiving implant. A flap is cut out from donor sclera having triangular cut for inferior oblique muscle to fit. Doublicature is created on the external flap border. The implant is introduced under external direct muscle. Another embodiment of the invention involves forming two implants having doublicatures on the external borders and notch in one of them for inferior oblique muscle to fit. The implants are placed under the external and internal direct muscles. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; maximum possible sclera-strengthening action. 5 cl, 3 dwg
