FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Surgical treatment of complicated and progressive myopia is carried out by forming a tunnel between the sclera and Tenon's membrane, and the transplant is brought into the Tenon’s space to the posterior pole and fixed. Transplant used is an allograft "Alloplant" for eyelid surgery from allogenic derma, from which a circle with diameter of 16 mm and thickness of 1.5 mm is pre-formed. Allograft is bent in half and introduced into the formed tunnel. To form a tunnel, a conjunctiva and Tenon's membrane are incised parallel to a limb in an upper outer square of an eyeball and implanted to a posterior pole of the eyeball. Allograft is laid with its smooth side to the sclera and is centralized and fixed by a muscular "funnel" at the junction of the rectus muscles of the eye.
EFFECT: method improves the support function of the "sclera-graft" complex, shortens or stabilizes the length of the anteroposterior axis (APA) of the eye, stabilizes the refraction of visual functions, reduces injuries.
