FIELD: mechanical engineering; materials handling facilities; conveyors. SUBSTANCE: disk roller of belt conveyor has cylindrical housing with press-fitted guard disks installed on axle in bearing units. Disks are made of elastomer. Spacer bushings are installed between disks and are fitted on housing with ring clearance. End parts of bushings are installed on support members made of elastomer and press-fitted on housing. Support members and guard disks of roller of different design can be used to meet operation requirements. Spacer bushings and housings are made of seamless or welded pipes of standard type-size without machining of inner surfaces of spacer bushings and outer surface of housing. EFFECT: simplified manufacture and assembling of roller, enhanced manufacturability at preservation of high performance, increased tightness and service life of roller. 4 cl, 4 dwg
