FIELD: mechanical engineering; materials handling facilities; conveyors. SUBSTANCE: belt conveyor roller sectional axle consists of two semiaxles with tail pieces and intermediate member made in form of pipe whose end parts are connected by nondetachable joints with tail pieces of semiaxles. Tail pieces of semiaxles are made with outer locating necks and shoulders adjacent to necks, with ring conical grooves made in transfer places. End parts of intermediate member are fitted on locating necks and are rolled into conical grooves of semiaxle tail pieces by press-fitting to form mechanical nondetachable connections of intermediate member and semiaxle tail pieces. EFFECT: provision of simple, reliable and easy-to-make mechanical nondetachable connections with intermediate member which do not disturb linearity of geometrical axis of belt conveyor roller sections axle. 4 dwg
