FIELD: mechanical engineering; valve timing. SUBSTANCE: unit is located inside split cylinder head consisting of upper and lower sections made to form after connection the spaces for rotated shaft with fitted on intake drum and outlet drum for each cylinder. Intake and outlet holes are provided in lower half of split head. Holes communicate with each cylinder. Intake and outlet channels communicating with drum spaces are made in split cylinder head. Reservoir spaces are found close to intake and outlet drums. Fuel-air mixture is delivered into intake drum at its both sides and exhaust gases are let out from both sides of outlet drum. Intake and outlet drums rotate inside spaces and seal the spaces by means of ring seals arranged around intake and outlet holes in lower section of split head.
