FIELD: radiolocation, systems controlling air traffic. SUBSTANCE: monopulse radar has antenna made in the form of two identical channels arranged in symmetry with reference to axis of antenna, high and intermediate frequency channels, phase detector, unit for automatic phase tuning, controlled phase inverters, reception/transmission switches, generator of test signals in the form of remote responder which signals are isolated by former of coordinate gate. Unit of automatic phase tuning determines azimuth of test responder. Measurement error converted to signal compensating for phase error in channels of signal transmission is found by results of comparison of measured azimuth with true one. EFFECT: increased precision of measurement of angular coordinates of objects. 2 cl, 4 dwg
