SUBSTANCE: method includes operative access on external surface of femur lower third in its lateral groove with knee in bent position; incision of skin, subcutaneous fat and fasciae in region between tendon of musculus biceps femoris and iliotibiac band, closer to the latter. Operative access is used in shunting of distal part of femoral artery or proximal part of popliteal artery with front tibial artery. EFFECT: simplified operation, reduced injury to tissues and duration of operation.
