FIELD: locking devices. SUBSTANCE: lock cylinder mechanism with plate catches includes body cylinder, key with code projections, plate catches and code plate. For coding, key is withdrawn from cylinder with subsequent thrust of ends of plate catches into cylinder and for possibility of their thrust into code plate in attempt of cylinder turning. Decoding is effected by introduction of key with lifting ends of plate catches by key code projections above surface of cylinder. In so doing, code plate is fixed on body and hole is made on it, and ends of catches in decoding are fixed by key code projections against respective holes. In this case, plate catches in lock coding and decoding are brought through code plate together with code projections of key and turning of cylinder. Lock cylinder mechanism with plate catches has body, cylinder, key with code projections. Plate catches are made in the form of springs located in gap between body and cylinder, across the cylinder and one of ends thrusting the cylinder. Located in gap between body and cylinder is code plate with holes to pass springs. The other end of springs is attached to cylinder, and plate itself is attached to body. Plate has additional cutouts to let key code projections pass through them. EFFECT: higher combination of lock. 2 cl, 5 dwg
