FIELD: determination of composition of multicomponent mixtures flowing through pipes or pipe-lines, of flow velocity, temperature and pressure of composition. SUBSTANCE: technical objective of invention consists in development of means enabling uninterrupted or batch current monitoring of materials and their mixtures including two- and three-component compositions to be conducted without creation of interference for flow of fluid medium. There are used technical procedures of arrangement of high-quality bridge circuits in order to parametrize complex dielectric properties of solids, liquids, gases and their mixtures. Parametrization is carried out in electrically insulated, physically open structure - testing section. With this in mind there is used pipe as waveguide through which mixture flows. High-frequency electromagnetic energy propagating trough this waveguide is induced through apertures loaded with dielectric material. Measurement is conducted in electrically insulated flow through testing section which induces constructive or destructive interference pictures on characteristic frequencies. Dielectric constant of mixture is found by characteristic frequency and dielectric properties in their turn are used to determine composition of mixture. Density is also determined for such three-component flows as oil products, water and gas. Measurements of temperature and pressure are conducted to correct induced changes in calibrated values of impedance and density of components.
