FIELD: reactors applicable in dehydrogenation of hydrocarbons to obtain more unsaturated hydrocarbons in stream containing hydrocarbon in selective oxidation of hydrogen. SUBSTANCE: reactor includes successively connected in direction of flow of stream containing hydrocarbon: first zone 2 of catalyst, zone 3 for mixing with oxygen provided with means 5 for separate supply of gas containing oxygen to stream containing hydrocarbon, and catalyst second zone 4. Zone 3 for mixing with oxygen has cross-section area and section in direction of flow of stream containing hydrocarbon from 0.5 to 0.75% of area of cross-section of each of two catalyst zones 2 and 4. Means 5 for supply of gas containing oxygen is made for gas supply at flow velocity of, at least, 1 m/s and which is higher than that of flow of stream containing hydrocarbon in zone of mixing with oxygen by a factor of 200. Zone 3 of mixing with oxygen has no catalyst in section adjacent to means 5 for oxygen supply. EFFECT: higher degree of conversion and selectivity of process. 7 cl, 3 dwg
