DEVICE FOR CONTACT OF LIQUID AND GAS Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2122880 C1

FIELD: gas and gas-processing industries, chemical and petrochemical industries in column or separation apparatus for preparation and processing of gas, gas condensate or oil. SUBSTANCE: device includes swirler with supply passages, sleeve with liquid supply passages and holes for primary separation connected with drain well, fairing and film remover mounted coaxially on base. mounted inside device between sleeve and swirler is diaphragm made in form of ring above which tangential passages are located in lower portion of sleeve. Tangential passages used for delivery of liquid are made in form of flanged holes; sizes of flanges do not exceed width of diaphragm ring; upper portion of drain well is located in clearance between sleeve and film remover. Holes of tangential passages for delivery of liquid are flanged aside similarly to holes of tangential passages for delivery of gas and are located above them symmetrically relative to base. EFFECT: increased range of effect operation of device at automatic increase of liquid flow rate in case of increase of gas flow rate. 3 cl, 3 dwg
