METHOD OF CONCENTRATING SPORE CULTURE IN PRODUCTION OF ANTHRAX VACCINE PREPARATIONS Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: microbiology, vaccines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of production of medicinal immunobiological preparations. Concentration of spore suspensions in production of vaccine preparation is carried out on porous membranes in regime of cross-flow filtration. For separation of cellular biomass membranes (pore size is 0.2 mcm) are used. Concentration is carried out in regime of cross-flow filtration under pressure 0.15-0.2 MPa at rate of material flow 12-16 dm³ x x h^-1. Washing out the concentrated spore suspension is carried out with distilled water in the ratio 1:3. Invention ensures to exclude spores inactivation and decrease their loss to 10% due to providing the sparing conditions in spores concentrating.
