FIELD: mechanical engineering; welding facilities. SUBSTANCE: current supply tube is installed in housing. Nozzle has two circular channels, inner and outer ones, to deliver shielding gas to electrode and to welding pool. Inner circular shielding gas supply channel is located directly around electrode. Outer circular shielding gas supply channel is made in form of truncated cone with its smaller base pointed upwards. Upper part of outer circular channel is connected to swirling ring chamber. Chamber consists of upper inlet ring chamber and lower multiple-start screw channels made in form of outer square or trapezoidal thread on thick walled branch pipe with outer branch pipe tightly fitted-on from outside. provision of outer rotating ring conical flow of shielding inert gas with decreasing thickness of layer of circular flow from top to bottom makes it possible to increase stability of locate protection against disturbances of ambient medium.
