FACING OF FRONT SECTION OF STAIR STEPS Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2123565 C1

FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this is intended for facing of edges of stair steps. Facing material has working component in the form of bar made of elastic material. Horizontal fastening member and vertical fastening member are connected respectively with rear surface of elastic bar and lower surface of elastic bar. Thickness H and modulus of elasticity E of material of working component meet following relations: H>h+h1;E≤H•K, where h - thickness of facing material of stair steps [M], h1 - thickness of horizontal fastening member [m]; K = 1011[H/m3]. Aforesaid embodiment of facing of front section of stair steps offers simplified design and mounting and also good self-cleaning effect such as of ice cover in course of service. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 3 dwg
