FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: device for protection against sliding on a stair step comprises a profiled metal base and an elastic insert coupled with a profiled metal base, which is arranged with at least one embedded element and has two parallel slots aligned along a profiled metal base, and the elastic insert is arranged in the form of a replaceable bar with corrugated surface and has two extended ledges with elements of fixation that are complementary to elements of fixation of parallel slots. Elements of fixation of extended ledges are arranged near tops of the ledges, elements of parallel slots fixation are arranged in bases of slots, length of extended ledges makes 1.2-1.3 of the depth of slots of the profile metal base, the ratio of the width of profiled metal base slots to the thickness of the extended ledges makes 2.0-2.8.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of step cleaning from ice under action of pedestrians, higher durability of an elastic insert.
