FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: lining of front portion of stair step comprises replaceable extensive working element, made of elastic material and having extensive ledges, which are inserted into slots oriented along step, available with fastening element, which is arranged at least with one embedded element intended for fixation of fastening element. Fastening element is connected to at least one element intended for fixation of carpeting, or they are arranged in the form of single whole mutually joined structure and are located so that in process of assembly, at least one element for fixation of carpeting presses working element to fastening one.
EFFECT: improved reliability of fixation and durability of lining, increased efficiency of adhesion between lined stair steps to pedestrian shoes, increased safety of stairs as a whole, simplified assembly, reduced cost of objects construction and lower time of works performance.
